Jones Logistics Recognizes Three JoLo BOLO Winners for June 2025

At Jones Logistics (JoLo), we believe that success is driven by passionate, humble, and hardworking people who bring our core values to life every day. This month, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on three team members who do just that: Nick Deal, Tami Flores, and George Medrano. They’re not just outstanding professionals; these individuals are outstanding examples of what it means to live the JoLo way. 

Short for “Be On the Lookout,” JoLo BOLO is our monthly recognition program where team members nominate fellow employees who go above and beyond in exemplifying our five core values: Integrity, Passion, Unity, Sustainability, and Humility. Whether it's a driver going the extra mile, a leader showing unwavering support, or a teammate stepping up for the group, JoLo BOLO winners inspire us all to raise the bar. 

Nick Deal has been with JoLo for over eight years, and during this time, he’s grown from a Carrier Representative to his current role as VP of Brokerage Operations. His career progression tells one story, but it’s his passion for people and leadership that really sets him apart. One team member put it perfectly: 

“Nick truly embodies all of our core values, but what stands out most to me is his passion. Whether it's during office hours or after hours, in person or remote, Nick consistently goes above and beyond to support and elevate the team. He often shares inspiring podcasts and personal stories that challenge us to see things from new perspectives and encourage growth. Nick is not only a dedicated team member, he’s a genuine advocate and cheerleader for Jones and its people.” 

Tami Flores joined Jones Logistics in 2021 as a Customer Service Representative and quickly made an impact. The following year, she was promoted to Logistics Supervisor—a role she’s continued to excel in from our Janesville, Wisconsin location. Tami was nominated for exemplifying Passion, and it’s easy to see why. Her dedication, energy, and care for the work she does radiates throughout her team and beyond. As one colleague shared: 

“I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Tami and work with her over the last few months. Spending time with her, I’ve seen that she has a passion for this company that most don’t have. She is a true asset to this company.” 

George Medrano has been a steady and supportive presence at our Waukesha, Wisconsin location since joining Jones Logistics in 2021 as a Dispatcher. In 2022, he was promoted to Manager of Dispatch Operations, a role where his leadership and team-first mindset have truly shone. Last month, George was nominated for exemplifying Unity. His willingness to step in, offer support, and foster collaboration helps create the kind of environment where everyone can thrive: 

“George is always there to help anyone in need, and he keeps all of us working as a team.”
