Hattiesburg, Miss. - November 30 2023 – Jones Capital (“Jones”), a privately owned middle market investment firm, announces the appointment of Doug George as Chief Executive Officer of portfolio company Jones Logistics (JoLo), a national provider of freight transportation and logistics solutions.
Doug brings over 29 years of leadership experience in asset-based freight as well as brokerage solutions. He joined JoLo in 2022 as President of the company’s brokerage business and led strategic efforts to drive productivity, operational efficiency, and customer and employee satisfaction. Prior to joining JoLo, he held leadership positions XPO Logistics, Ryder Systems Inc., and Elston Nationwide Carriers.
